In the past, the family, street or neighbourhood provided support. In many instances, such building blocks of community have been lost. Community Models aims to change that through the development and sustenance of models that enhance individual and community access to services and employment. These include co-operative vehicles, community businesses and social enterprises. Community Models seek to support people to live sustainably as active members of their own communities and seek to use technologies that allow individuals to more easily access services and other public goods.
