Connected Liverpool Partnership

Urban Evolution/Smarter Belfast is delighted to announce its partnership with Connected Liverpool, in an on-going collaboration to develop and enhance Smart City projects for both Belfast and Liverpool.

Urban Evolution is a partnership of Smart City projects. Smarter Belfast and Connected Liverpool seek to find solutions through technology and data to shared problems. The Belfast and Liverpool networks hope to develop joint cross-city links with organisations, local SMEs and citizens to create a sense of solidarity and mutual trust leading to a continued and sustainable programme of Smart City projects. Urban Evolution aims to facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge; sharing ‘smart city’ best practice, enhance joint funding/competition bid success and help maximise inward investment into these cities.

In both Liverpool and Belfast the Smart Cities Future Communities’ networks hope to initiate debate and tackle a large variety of issues in order to improve the citizens’ quality of life brought about through innovative use of technology and data. Is your city part of the Urban Evolution?

"It's great to collaborate with Smarter Belfast and widen our ecosystem to learn and share skills and our experience. Belfast and Liverpool are both cities with a heritage in innovation and industry, we look forward to continued collaboration to raise both economic growth, sustainability and the health and wellbeing of the citizens of both cities".
